วันเสาร์ที่ 20 กรกฏาคม 2562 Generasi Wonderful Indonesia (GENWI), สถานทูตอินโดนีเซียประจำประเทศไทย, มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น, กองการต่างประเทศ และคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้ร่วมกันจัดงาน “Sedoso Budoyo: Screet Culture of New Bali” ขึ้น ณ โรงละคร คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ โดยมี รศ.นพ.ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นเป็นประธานในพิธีร่วมกับ Mr. Dodo Sudrajat อุปทูตฯ อินโดนีเซีย โดยมี อ.ดร.ภัทร์ คชภักดี ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์และสื่อสารองค์กรให้การต้อนรับ การจัดกิจกรรมครั้งนี้เป็นการเพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ถึงแหล่งท่องเที่ยวในประเทศอินโดนีเซีย ซึ่งมีอีกหลายสถานที่ที่เหมาะสมต่อการท่องเที่ยว พักผ่อน ตลอดจนศึกษาเรียนรู้ทางด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรมของชนเผ่าท้องถิ่นนั้นๆ และภายในงานยังได้มีการจัดแสดงดนตรีพื้นถิ่นทางวัฒนธรรมของประเทศอินโดนีเซียและร้านค้าอาหารอย่างมากมายที่ผู้ร่วมงานสามารถชม – ชิม ได้ฟรีตลอดงาน
Khon Kaen, 20 July 2019, Generasi Wonderful Indonesia (GENWI) or Wonderful Generation of Indonesia, just conducted a spectacular program in promoting new Indonesia’s tourist destinations. The theme carried out was “Sedoso Budoyo: Screet Culture of New Bali” and the whole carried theme was about 10 New Bali. Those 10 New Bali mentioned are Lake Toba in North Sumatera, Tanjung Kelayang in Belitung, Tanjung Lesung in Banten, Pulau Seribu in Jakarta, Borobudur in Central Java, Mandalika in Lombok, Mount Semeru in East Java, Wakatobi in Northeast Sulawesi, Labuan Bajo in East Nusa Tenggara and Morotai in Norht Maluku. Indonesian Student Association in Thailand Chapter Khon Kaen took the role as the commitee of the agenda. As well as some other supporters. In this special occations Mr. Dodo Sudrajat as the representative of The Ambassy of The Republic of Indonesia appreciated the effort of this event so that can be succesfully held. “We appreciate this event to be held continously in the future. This event is one of promotion way of our 10 New Bali. Those 10 New Bali are as beautiful as Bali. But it has its own uniqueness” he said at the Theater Room, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Khon Kaen University. As Mr. Dodo Sudrajat appreciation, The representative of Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts Khon Kaen University and also The President of Khon Kaen University appreciate this event. “We do hope that this collaboration will continously be held between Khon Kaen University and Indonesia” Said Patrick Kotchapakdee as the representative of Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts Khon Kaen University In this occation, there are some local performances from Indonesia that was mesmeric for all the invited audiences. Medley dances of 10 New Bali that represents those ten local dances. Bambangan Cakil Dance also as well. This dance is adopted from one of the scenes in puppet story. It tells the bettle between warrior and giant. And the most attractive session was angklung music demonstration. Bhawika Hikmat Prasetya, as the music conductor was actively demonstrated how to play angklung correctly followed by all the audiences. As part of the event, some local product owner from Indonesia were also invided to promote theirs. The committee also provided booths for product showing off outside of the theater room. The audience can directly buy it late after. And during the occation there were a number of doorprises given for those who actively participated in question and answer session. In the last session, the invited audiences were invited to the special dinner with both cullinary from Indonesia and Thailand (hyd).
